Plant Blueberries on Shoreline

Shoreline planting - August 2013

It's time to plant the blueberries !  The Buffers for Blue Lakes is still looking for association members who are interested in participating in this program.  The program provides a one and half hour workshop about lake ecology, the role of shoreline buffers and creating healthy ecosystems.  Homeowners are provided with technical and planting information, blueberry plants and planting materials. The cost per homeowner WAS $50.00, but LHA has decided to pay $25.00 of that cost.  You get $100.00 worth of blueberry plants and planting material for only $25.00.  Plus they'll even come and help you plant them, if you want.  You can't lose on this deal.  Fresh blueberries and shoreline benefits.  Contact Jackie Sprague at 633-4994.
